The Sims: Livin' Large
To bring up the cheat window press ctrl + shift + c in
the game and then type any of the codes below. All these
cheats only work on the ‘neighbourhood’ screen:
1. nessie - Brings up the loch ness monster when on the
neighbourhood, downtown or vacation screen.
2. move_lots - Change lot positions in the
neighbourhood (press escape to save).
3. show_zones [on|off] - Turns zoning outlines around
lots on or off.
4. show_filter [0-7] - Type 'show_filter [number]' to
show lot filters.
Rosebud
The new Livin' Large mod for The Sims also has a new
Money code.
Instead of Klapaucius you'll type Rosebud.
Hit cntrl+shift+C and type Rosebud ;!;!;!;!;!;!;! then hit enter.
Display Personality and Interests
Select a Sim, then type "interests" at the command prompt.
Draw all frames
Type "draw_all_frames on" at the command prompt. To turn it off,
type
"draw_all_frames off" at the command prompt.
Island home
Type "water_tool" at the command prompt.
Map Editor
To enable the map editor, type "map_edit on" at the command
prompt. To
turn it off again, type "map_edit off" at the command prompt.
Route Balloons
Type "route_balloons on" at the command prompt. This displays
little
balloons explaining why a character is delayed or not doing what you
asked.
To turn it off, type "route_balloons off" at the command prompt.
Set event logging mask
Type "log_mask" at the command prompt.
Set free thinking level
Type "autonomy #" at the command prompt, where # is an IQ between
1
and 100.
Set time of day
Type "set hour #" at the command prompt, where # is an hour in
military
time (1-24).
Tile Information
Type "tile_info on" at the command prompt, then move your cursor
over
any object for detailed information. To turn it off again, type "tile_info
off"
at the command prompt.
Toggle "Ticks"
Type "sweep on" or "sweep off" at the command prompt.

On the East Road just out of Hobbiton (past the woodsman
who trades his dagger for pipeweed), on the ledge above
the stumps that summon the elves is a house. Enter it
and walk up to the bookcase. Press [Action] and a gold
coin will appear. Leave the house and re-enter. Another
gold coin will be there. Repeat this to get as many
coins as needed.
